Cringeworthy Awesomeness

It's true - there are cringeworthy moments when the show host, *HiAndy* display's of geekiness are almost too much, but then you know he's laughing at himself too, and it's all ok because it's very very authentic. Andy is fantastic as creating metaphors, visualization and stories to get his points across that really make you understand and remember. Been a long time fan and continue to download - keep it up Mr Pizza!

Daily Pep Talk

The creative pep talk is always on when I am doing my work. Every Podcast is a constant pep talk, something we all need as creatives. I like interviews the most. This podcast was recommended by my friend and I want to do the same here. Lisen, enjoy, work hard and stay pep up with this podcast.

Amazing actionable creative insights!

The host is hilarious and really inspiring! It’s a super fun podcast and it also helps you take consistent action in your life, so it’s pretty perfect. He’s SUPER jazzed and it can feel a little much at the beginning but it will quickly become your favorite part about it. This is a great podcast for anyone wanting to do great creative work, and be paid for it, whether or not you’re in the arts.

Great podcast!

Andy is great at breaking it down. As an interviewer he is so thoughtful, listening to his guest in a genuine way. Monologues are super inspiring. Worth a listen

I wish I could be Andy’s bud

Firstly, Andy’s Mission is a noble one. You can tell this podcast was born from a sincere and burning desire to help people who are going where he’s been. What’s amazing is it is as unique and refreshing in execution as it is in concept; each time I listen I feel he has said the exact thing to keep me motivated and moving forward as a creative professional. Next- He does an impressive job generalizing in a way that makes his pep talks apply to all kinds of pepperonis. (what is the plural of pepperoni btw?) Lastly: I’m not sure if it has something to do with being the same age as Andy and therefore sharing the same childhood zeitgeist, but I could listen to him talk about anything. All day. His humor and unedited stream of consciousness are so enjoyable. I regularly lol while listening. And another thing! ☝🏼 I’m so stoked for his blossoming speaking career. Andy is THE MAN!

I have been listening to Andy for a couple of months now and of all of the creative podcasts I listen to, he is definitely one of my favorite. Fun, energetic, and absolutely real. His story and his step by step tips/strategies are super valuable no matter where you are in your creative career!

Deep and light at the same time

I'm usually not the type of person into pep talks and motivation speeches, but Andy has a way to do it that just feels like a conversation. Sometimes the subjects are pretty deep, but it's always approched in a kind and casual way. I often catch myself smiling or laughing while listening, which is a good thing since I often listen to the podcast when I'm on a bad mood. Some of Andy's advice can work outside of creative work, which is a bonus. Creative Pep Talk was the very first podcast I chose to try to get into the thing, and I don't regret it at all!

I listened to the first Creative Career Path episode the other week and it has already helped me so much. I was floored at how many things Andy said that were thoughts I had or didn't even know I was having. Every episode surprises me with something I have experienced or felt. I have gone to a few talks, listened to podcasts, followed YouTube channels and have been inspired but also massively intimidated. I think there are a lot of creatives who give advice who might be doing it to add some clout but Andy really does care about helping people find their path; it is literally pouring out of him in these episodes! If your looking to start your creative journey with a sincere Jedi Gandalf wizard man who likes pizza, this is your podcast. Also, the choons are pretty dace ✨

I’ve recently discovered creative pep talk and I can’t say enough good things about it. Andy’s personality is quirky, fun, and upbeat. His advice is consistent and always inspiring. I’m a practical creative person and I think one of the best parts of this podcast is that it’s produced with a practical artist in mind, regardless of level and ability.

A must for ALL creatives

I’m obsessed with this podcast. It is equally as hilarious as it is valuable. If you’re a creative of any kind, this show is a MUST listen. I’m so impressed by Andy’s ability to breakdown deep topics related to the creative journey AND offer fresh and inspiring insight on those topics (and be so funny and colorful at the same time). Creative Pep Talk has helped me so much. I tell all my creative friends about it so I felt I should try to convince ~you~!! It helps you feel not alone. It makes you laugh. It makes you cry. It HELPS!! Don’t sleep on the pure magic Andy creates for us each week. We are so lucky to have him. He’s kinda like the cool art teacher version of Tony Robins.

Creative Pie with Extra Awesomesauce!

I have recently been binge-listening to the CPT podcasts and they have BLOWN MY MIND! I can’t even express how meaningful Andy's talks have been to me. I think the thing(s) that have resonated with me the most was the fact that you speak about so many of the same topics/struggles that have been rattling around in my headspace and communicate them in such a meaningful, humorous and well-articulated way. And, that there are others that share my point-of view and struggle with similar creative issues. Thank you for having the balls to speak out and share your point of view—I admire your tenacity!

Andy is AWESOME! Real advice, real talk and real tips, tricks, and motivation! I love that everything that is discussed is realistic and not a "follow my formula and you'll be "uber-tuber famous overnight" because thats all BS. Really enjoy!

I had to leave a review because Andy’s awesome spirit and personality overflows in a way that always brings me up. His enthusiasm truly conveys not only as a pep talk but that he is a genuine advocate for his listeners. Love listening to this podcast and it definitely contains great actionable info for creatives.

Love this podcast!

Doing any kind of creative work means coming up against uncertainty and self doubt. I find this podcast is simply brilliant for guidance and advice. Andy really knows his stuff and his warmth and integrity really make this podcast stand out. In my opinion, it's the very best podcast on creativity out there.

Inspiring and helpfull

I just listened to the last episode, my first, episode 176, and it was so good! Also very helpfull. The tip to not go for the nr. 1 in the market, but a top 10 somewhere in the middle. Why didn't I come up with that? :-D Thanks Andy! I will listen to more of your podcast during preparing my files.

Designer

I wish I had this podcast when I was just out of college (or before!) trying to figure out how to make a creative path and make a living. I got all kinds of bad advice, boht of the safe kind "(just work in a bank"!) to the follow-your-passion-to-the-poor-house-kind ("just starve until you make it"). Andy is so fun, funny, and thoughtful and his advice is helpful every week. I think the new Creative Path Series he's just wrapped up is the culmination of all his ideas and groundbreaking way to approach getting the right creative work. I look forward to putting into action this month. Cheers Dr. Pizza!
