Thank you!
I just discovered this podcast and am starting from episode one, I already love it. Andy’s passion is so inspiring, wonderful advice, it’s like listening to a really great friend from my desk. Thank you so much!
I LOVE this podcast!!!
I am a filmmaker who also works in the music industry and I am so glad I found this podcast. Andy is a terrific host. He’s honest and funny and passionate. There are so many Bert podcasts out there, but this is an Ernie podcast!! #ErniesUnite This is where creative souls come to figure out this weird “Bert World” and how we can be a little more Bert-y in our Ernie-ness. Okay, okay, I’ll stop with the Ernie/Bert references, but truly, I get so much out of this podcast. Andy’s genuine passion for the process of creating art and for helping & connecting with people comes through in every episode. I especially like the video he posted on the CPT YouTube channel about “burnout” as well as the episode about how to charge for our creative projects, but honestly, I love every episode. I’m a quasi-new listener so I’m going back through and listening to all episodes on iTunes and so I can’t remember which episode number that is at the moment. I have also recently listened to the original CPT soundtrack on iTunes by musician/producer, Alex Sugg. I love how Andy describes how he explained what he wanted to Alex as “a cross between The Hero’s Journey and something that would play while watching sped up footage of a seedling becoming a plant” (or something close to that!) I too am a huge fan of Joseph Campbell’s work and anything Hero’s Journey-related. I recommend this podcast to every creative person (aka “Ernie”) I know!! Well done Andy and thank you for sharing your heart with the world. It’s a beautiful heart to share!
Pure, inspirational joy!
I love love love! Just finished listening to an episode and it’s pulled me out of a year long creative rut. Andy’s hilarious! Definitely recommend!
Awesome resource for creative freelancers

Love this dude
Really enjoying his unique perspective and encouraging attitude!
Pizza Fan
Love me some AJ Pizza! Always bringing the pizzazz and the jazz in whatever he is speaking about, makes all his messages easy to understand and relatable to all listeners! I have been recommending this podcast to every creative person I come across! #astropad
Silver Lining
I love this podcast! Andy is down to earth, honest, helpful, and realistic! I love hearing from all of the guest creatives he has on the show. Andy and guests share their stories, antidotes, theories, methods, and more about the creative and design world. I recommend this for anyone in any of the creative fields!
Spiritual Viagra For Artists
Andy is no less than a spiritual preacher for artist, informative, inspiring, thought provoking and uplifting, also a warm human being, what else do you need? Make it your regular dose and you’ll be creating before you know it.:)
Thank you Andy
Every time I listen to this podcast I feel so good. Andy is so himself that it makes me feel okay to be myself. And he makes me want to work harder, and be nicer. Thank you Andy! Everyone should listen!
The Best
I am so happy that I found this podcast, and so wish it had been around maybe 10 years ago when I had no clue how to go about being a ‘real artist’. Fantastic food for thought, and goes much deeper than the average podcast for creatives. My new favorite thing to listen to when I’m painting ❤️ Thank you Mr. Pizza, don’t ever stop!
New fave podcast, hallelujah!
Hi Andy. Just wanted to spill some love for you and The Creative Pep Talk. Since I started listening a couple weeks ago, I’ve become a bit addicted! So much of what you’ve said has made me feel less alone in all that comes with the creative business journey. And I’m especially thankful for what you said about taking steps in 10 different directions or having the courage to take 10 steps in one. Anyway, I think you are hilarious and wise. So glad I found your show! xoxo Violet
Always Encouraging
It didn't take long for this podcast to become my go to. Andy is freaking hilarious and I can't help but occasionally burst out in giggles in the middle of my office. The guests that come on always have something incredibly relatable to say and I love how clean the content is. Please keep up the good work!
Inspiring and Empowering
If you're a creative person who's out there hustling and trying to make a liviing, you need to listen to this podcast! One of my writing students turned me onto Andy last year and this podcast just gets better and better. Andy's most recent episode with Seth Godin is so inspiring, real, and deep. I've learned so much about marketing, growing your audience, and putting yourself out there in the world.
Motivating, positive and creative
If you're a creative and an entrepreneur, this one's for you!
Helpful for all kinds of artists!
I really enjoy Andy’s funny, thoughtful, random, adhd-riddled discussions on making a career of your art! His personality is so similar to mine, and I enjoy how much he’s thought through these concepts and encourages artists and lays the concepts out in really clear ways. I am a classical singer and find his ideas very applicable. Thanks, Andy, for your podcast! It’s in my top two favorites for encouraging artists, along with Cathy Heller’s podcast!
Best podcast for creative life styles
I’m an architecture student, and even if I’m very interested on illustrations and design i listen this podcast mostly because it has helped me to understand my creative process as an architect, my emotions working on it, my burnouts as no one else has. It has the best tips, the best quotes and the best teacher in that sense. At uni i’m constantly dealing with the idea that we have to be ‘professionals’ but no one teach u how to deal with youself as a creative person first. Andy u are the best for creating this safe space. Thank you
Creativity empowerment!
I am sooo glad I found this podcast!!! Andy J. Pizza never fails to deliver valuable insight, entertainment (so many laughs!) and hopefulness in every episode. This podcast is a wonderful listen for any creative person - no matter what stage of their career. It inspires, helps you to identify your “creative superpowers” and provides actionable steps for defining (and following) your own unique path. I’m 100% jazzed about it!
HUGE FAN
I’m a BIG fan. I’ve seen some not-so-amazing reviews about the host rambling but he is ADHD and openly admits it. I love that about him. He is a nerd to the maximum capacity and I FREAKING LOVE IT. He makes random jokes and laughs at himself for them. It’s great. Honestly. Highly suggest this podcast.
Keep Digging
This episode really hit the spot I needed. I’m 65 and ...’what’s the use’ is a refrain playing in my head constantly. The story of the brothers search reminded me that I too am on an adventure. I also listened to your interview with Lisa Congdon about women over 50 who have started their lives over, it was fantastic. Thanks for being my weekly pep talk and keep them coming. Also I am waiting with baited breath for next weeks episode of ‘The Curse of Oak Island’...the narration is hysterical.
Positive Creative Fun Input

Inspiring and exciting!
Absolutely love this podcast. It's my go to podcast for when I'm heading into work and for when I'm looking for inspiration or creative guidance. Thanks so much Andy!
Genuine and helpful!
This has become one of my favorite podcasts. It's a long walk for a glass of water but it's always a very scenic and informational walk. Great for when I've got some time to really absorb the information. Love his interview style as well!
