I have listened to other business and/or creative podcasts and no one does the art of the monologue justice like Andy! Also, “HEY EVERYBODY” just brings a smile to my face every episode. Amazing Podcast for creatives
I LOVE Creative Pep Talk! This podcast is so inspiring and Andy is amazing at organizing ideas in a way that keeps everything helpful and relevant to the subject of the episode. I feel like most podcasts are a lot of rambling and talking about irrelevant stuff that I have no interest in, but Andy’s “tangents” make me laugh and always add to and tie into the episode. His analogies are all really interesting and great for simplifying as well as relating abstract ideas to the listener, and I have learned so many helpful tidbits that have stuck with me. Andy has the warmest, most fun personality ever, and I can’t help but smile while listening to this show.
This podcast is great for ANY type of creative person, not just visual artists. I highly recommend it! :)

Recent find, now my favourite creative podcast
I just found this podcast last week. I’ve just started listening from episode 0 and I’m so so so so sooooo happy I found this! Honestly, I don’t think there’s any other creative podcast like this! Love it so much! Thank you!

The smiley face on my shoulder
I’ve been reaping the benefits of this podcast far too long with out showing visible support, so I’m hear to say: Andy is so great. I found this podcast while feeling extremely directionless last winter. I suggest CPT to any creative I know that struggles to maintain faith in themselves. His podcast constantly hits the nail on the head and ends up being exactly what I need to hear. He remains humble and entertaining while providing tactics and encouraging you to take a look at yourself. Check it out y’all! You won’t regret it.

Couldn’t live without this podcast now!!
I absolutely love this podcast for helping me mentally through my creative career. Andy is expressive and passionate and you can really tell he means everything he says. Game changer !!!
Can’t say enough good things about this podcast! Andy provides practical information for building a creative career while also encouraging you and making you feel seen and understood on a spiritual level! I am not exaggerating when I say this has changed my life and the way I view my career as an artist. It has helped me embrace the business side of things and has inspired me to strive for goals I used to think were unattainable. Practical visionary- actually not an oxymoron
Andy delivers practical gold to creative neurons, making them fire in a way that creates order for ideas to work in a way that gets exchanged for cash. If I would have had this podcast 20 years ago, I would have had a voice telling me why the arts aren’t a pipe dream and I could have flipped the bird to my grandmother and her type-a mainstream thinking.

Literally one of the best podcasts for creatives.
I’ve been listening Creative Pep Talk for almost three years now. I love it. As an in-house creative, my motivation can sometimes just plummet. CPT has been a source of inspiration and really is such a great pep talk. Somehow, whenever I’m in a funk, Andy releases a new episode that talks about the exact issues I’m struggling with. He’s charismatic, witty, and extremely empathetic. I go back and listened to specific episodes over just to really get his message to sink in. You can tell he truly cares about the messages he conveys, and I really enjoy his insights and the research he does on creativity and motivation. My favorite series of episodes has to be on the Creative Side Quests (and not just because of his Legend of Zelda references). Andy is just super genuine and wants to help, and I honestly feel like his Creative Pep Talks are incredibly helpful. If you’re looking for motivation, this is the podcast for you!

Absolutely amazing and unique podcast
I started listening to this podcast a little over a month ago and I just can’t thank Andy enough for creating it. It has made such a positive impact on my life already. I’ve gained more courage, confidence, and motivation to do more creative work and now I’m in better place than I was a month ago!
