I have been listening to Creative Pep Talk since 2015 I believe. It was the very first podcast I listened to. Andy is an genuine breath of fresh air. It is clear that he carefully curates his podcasts for the audience to gain valuable creative business content every episode. He wants his audience to succeed. There are a lot of podcasts out there, if you are a creative, this one is a must listen.

As someone who is (was) supposed to graduate in May and dive deep in the creative industry this podcast is what motivates me, gives me hope, keeps me realistic, helps me find the things that I’m good at and that I want to work on. I love that every week Andy is talking to me and helping me brace myself for the real world, thank you so much for showing up!! I recommend this podcast to all my friends and I recommend it to whoever is reading this!

This podcast has it all: it's entertaining, it's helpful, it's authentic and funny and it hase beautiful cover art! Andy is doing a great job and I'm so grateful for his work!

Usually I listen to podcasts for the interviews; this is one of the few I listen to just to hear Andy’s ideas. Being ADHD he has a lot of them. Lots of valuable tips on how to focus, how to find inspiration, how to be ok with yourself. Two thumbs up 👍 👍

It took me a few episodes to realize or decide that this person is the real deal. Andy j pizza (if that’s you’re real name?) is sincere and excited and eager to share. Andy has the gift of gab. I’m a creative but not trying to “make it” or have a creative career or business, and yet I find this podcast so inspiring! I guess it’s a self help podcast, and it’s the first one I’ve ever jived with. Sometimes I wonder if andy really loves the sponsors... it certainly seems that way... and so, great!

I’m taking the plunge, listening to that fire alarm beeping, saying “f*-it I’m doing this”, whatever we want to call it... I’m going to commit to the creativity inside me screaming to get out! It’s early days and the negative voices keep creeping in. Lots of different road signs on the path (sabotage station is a favorite) try and lure me back to “safety/prison” but amongst that crap, I found THIS podcast. This podcast is my shoulder angel!!! I hit play when the voices get loud and I bypass those road signs and keep keeping on! Thank YOU!!!!!!

This podcast has been a LIFESAVER. After graduating college and moving out of LA to a rural city, my artistic motivation just died - along with my support system. While I haven’t been able to create the same community I used to have, this podcast kept my head in the right space and kept me moving ahead. Andy’s positivity is absolutely infectious and yet he is such a realist and provides REAL LIFE ADVICE for creatives.I’m so thankful for his consistency and encouragement, while also speaking the hard truth. I HIGHLY recommend this show

I came across this guy on a Savvy Painter podcast and his banter wasn’t just hyperbole. His enthusiastic advice struck a pleasant chord. Andy speaks in generalities to all creatives and it works. He has the rare gift of simplifying or putting into word complex ideas and feelings. Well done Andy, even with the made up name.

Episode 261 was exactly what I needed today. It seems so simple, yet it’s so deep and so true. I feel like I will never be the same as an artist after listening to this. Brought me to tears..

Being a young designer with not much mentorship in my industry because I’m working at a startup, I feel like Andy is my big brother who has encouraged me to keep going and giving me real advice on what and how I should pursue my creative career. I think throughout some really hard times in 2019 that got me very stressed out, mentally drained and honestly really lost in my life, this podcast has really reignighted a fire in me for my love for art/design and had given me actionable steps to move forward with. Andy is funny, self-deprecating and never boring. He connects many different concepts with ease. This podcast is very inspiring, and will help artists in any field.

Best podcast ever. A mix of concrete advice, encouragement, and humor. Really integral to my artistic progress ever since I started first heard about it. Throw it on while you are creating. During your commute. When you feel your slacking. Before bed. There is no bad time to listen :)
