Bob Ross lives on!!!

I feel like this show is the more updated version of watching a Bob Ross video! I have been slowly coaxing the whimsical creative girl that is me to come out and play, and it is all because of the creative podcasts! I feel like every episode is geared toward what I am dealing with in some manner. I love to craft while I am listening to you. Thank you for your time, and for sharing and growing the art world in ways that will change history. I appreciate all you have done for me.

Love it!

I listen to the podcast as I am working at my studio. I really like the upbeat nature of it. Thank you for the valuable tidbits. As an artist, I plan many of my pieces meticulously by factoring in how to engage the viewer with my work. Your techniques involving the use of psychology are incredibly helpful.

Really beautiful, fun, and practical advice for artists

I cannot thank you enough for this podcast, especially the episode “For When You Feel Like Giving Up,” which I could listen to repeatedly because the advice is SO GOOD. It’s inspiring and practical for all artists at any point in their careers, but it’s like an especially warm hug to artists early in their career who are lost in the dark wilderness of the art world. I am so happy to have found this podcast and want to thank Andy for all he’s doing for the art community!

Thank you for not trying to sell me anything!

Andy’s (I call him Andy because I feel like we are friends) podcast is really inspiring, and I will tell you why: beyond the amazing content, he stay’s consistent and he is not trying to sell me anything (yeah if he has a new book he will talk about it but it’s not a weekly sales call). So many podcasts these days are an obvious lead into a workshop, a group or a book and it's so tiring and off-putting. I feel like Andy just come’s from the heart and wants to help people while entertaining and telling stories. Thanks for leading with love, your vision is really clear and inspiring.

BEST CREATIVE PODCAST

I have only listened to 2 podcasts so far and it’s been amazing. It’s already helped me regroup my thoughts and direction on where i want to go with my creativity. And i love the ads are minimal and it isnt trying to sell me a course every 5 seconds!

This podcast was MADE for me.

This podcast is just the kick in the backside I needed. So many times, Andy has said just what I needed to hear in order to get me over a hump—from being stymied by fear of failure to feeling alone in my artistic struggle to figure out why I do what I do, and push through the hard, the messy and the ugly. It’s the truest most awesome podcast I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.

Find your story episode

Whoa, Andy J Pizza, you totally nailed this one! Loved the Toy Story reference. I was so inspired that I will listen to it again. It was awesome that you mentioned how hesitant you were to share your ideas, but it was worth it to me. I never thought of the obstacles in my life being a way to flush out my story. Thanks again, great job, so glad that I heard it today.

Andy WILL pep you up!

I've been listening to Andy's Creative Peptalk for years and have found it consistently inspiring, informative, hilarious, touching and mind-blowing. I found Andy's podcast when I was a bit lost at sea, and with his positive and practical approach to creativity, I got my bearings and started sailing where I wanted to go. Even though I feel like I'm on the right path, I still enjoy the weekly company and pep-reminder. I don't know what I would do without it! Also: his skillshare classes are among the best—and the most entertaining!

A delight

Andi’s enthusiasm and eloquent way of talking about creative process, creative thinking, strategy and more, is absolutely incredible. I’ve been freelancing for about four years, and throughout my journey, I’ve struggle with severe anxiety that has manifested in chest pain along with depression because of the pressure of the industry, specially doing it alone. Creative pep talk has become a tool for me to get out of my funk and keep going. Super duper grateful for having someone like Andi sharing his knowledge experience and passion for creativity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you inspire me to keep going and you remind me of the joy that exist behind being a creative. Gracias 🌹

Andy (Pizza) Miller is my creative muse. His perspectives, observations and insight into the creative process are spot on. I’m most impressed with his authenticity. Best podcast for creatives

Andy J. Pizza is one of the most relatable person in the industry, I really love this podcast and its my favorite. You can really take so much info, tips and inspiration, not only as a creative person but as a person in general. I think it has brought my art up to a new level ! My absolute favorite

Creative peptalk is my go to podcast to get energized about my small business. I work on my own from home as a freelancer designer and that can bring a lot of doubt and confusion sometimes. Andy has a way of knowing exactly was creatives need to hear.. I am not quite sure how he does it, but I love it!

If you’re an artist musician designer this is the podcast for for. Andy talk in a conversational tone that has tricked me into thinking I was conversing with him a number of times. His ideas give me new ways to see my creative work and I always come out of an Episode feeling pumped and full of new ideas.

A dream podcast for anyone who’s creative!

If you make stuff, it’s highly possible every episode of this podcast will speak directly to you. The insights and observations Andy makes are so thought-provoking and helpful. These episodes really are pep talks. You’ll get jazzed about creating again, if you haven’t been feeling like it. If you have been creating and want to hear juicy explorations of different nitty-gritty aspects of the journey, this podcast absolutely provides that. I couldn’t have dreamed up a better podcast for me to listen to while I paint and when I prepare to write each day. Andy has a great voice and is funny. He would've made a great comedic actor. Anyway, you gotta listen to this podcast, it’s fantastic.

Life Changing for Creatives

I honestly don’t even know how to put it into words how I feel about this podcast. I’ve always been an aspiring illustrator and designer. After graduating from college during the pandemic with my graphic design degree, I wasn’t able to find a job within my field and ended up working a 9-5 office job. I it was depressing because I missed being surrounded by other creative people and immersed in a creative environment. I found this podcast at the beginning of 2021 and while I sat at my work desk, I listened to every. Single. Episode. I felt like Andy was my life long friend. Each episode brought me back to live. I looked forward to hearing his pep talks everyday. I would leave work and go home to create something just to keep the spark he lit in me alive. He also speaks about mental health and his struggles with ADHD, which I relate to. This podcast truly helped me out of depression, it’s brought me to tears at times. I could go on and on, but ultimately you just have to listen for your self just to grasp how amazing this podcast is. Thank you Andy for showing up every week and giving us all something to look forward to. Thanks to you I’m beginning my own creative practice and starting to work on a kids book of my own. I can not express how grateful I am. Stay pepped up!
