As a freelancer getting back into the swing of things, this podcast has been amazing. I love hearing about the nuances, best practices and personal experiences that Andy and his guests bring to the conversation. If you're getting into the business you need to add this to your resources.

I recommend this podcast to everyone, but it is absolutely essential if you are someone building a career in the creative industry. Seriously, I have listened to a lot of entrepeneur/creative podcasts, and CPT is as good as it gets. Inspiring, informative, compusively positive. Andy is like your favorite teacher, coach, and therapist all in one! He really keeps me and my business going when things get tough.

It's always great to hear andy! He is an "art dad" motivator. He encourages us to find the core of our works value. I also asked him to check out my work and provide some feedback for what he thought was valuable in my work and he did! Always great to receive confirmation from the best when just starting out!

I stumbled across Andy and his podcast recently and listen to it every day and often. If you are a creative soul you need to give this a listen. Andy's honest, heartfelt and spot on advice is a gold mine of positive inspiration and practical know how. I'm a HUGE fan.

Wow, Andy J Pizza. I really can't say enough about how helpful this podcast has been for me in growning my confidence as an illustrator. There are so many moments I have literally paused the podcast to go write down some amazing golden nugget of wisdom. The conversations are a breathe of fresh air in what can sometimes be a stifling climate as a person trying to work creatively. Andy and his guests, debunk a lot of myths surrounding what it means to work as a creative and make a living!! They get really practical and down to earth which is so refreshing. Not only is this podcast hilarious and entertaining, but it is super real, heartfelt and relatable. Andy speaks from a place of real authenticity which I think is key as a creative person. Also, his guests come from all different arenas of creative vocations which just helps you realize you're not the only person in the world, trapped in your basement, experiencing these same creative struggles. You walk away feeling SUPER pepped up, ready to make awesome work and you feel somehow connected to a bigger creative community. Honestly, since listening to this, my work has really reached a new level and I've been braver about sharing and finding a voice. I've been stuck in a three year- post grad- artist rut and thanks to CPT I've been able to unearth some creative gold! Keep going!

If nothing else, Andy has a way with words that makes you feel like you've been best friends forever. That quality alone lets you know you can trust him, because only genuinely authentic people have that quality. His advice, intuition, and passion are everything you need to stay focused and motivated on the path to being a creative professional.

This show is seriously uplifting amidst the many low moments of trying to make it as an independent creative. Thanks to Andy for his endless enthusiasm that penetrates even the most robust cynicism!

Andy's approach to a design podcast is honest, kind and welcoming. I knew he was a keeper when he mentioned Elizabeth Gilbert and Brene Brown in the same show. He handles the sensitive topics of anxiety, success, and growth with grace and humor that I haven't heard with other designer podcasts. I could not recommend his podcast more.

This podcast is my weekly anti-cinicism medicine. I highly recommend it to anyone doing creative work, whether for a company or independently. We all struggle with the same issues of self-doubt, anxiety, etc., and the way Andy addresses each issue with complete honesty and transparency is truly inspiring. Ditto for his guests. He really has built a fountain of motivation with his podcast. Thank you Andy <3
