Andy Speaks to Me
It's like listening to my future self telling me all the stuff I need to know to get where I want to be in 5 years. This guy goes to the core of how to find fulfillment in your creative work - not just making money or being successful but finding your true calling as an artist. He references stuff that I really connect with both psychological and philosophic like Carl Jung and fun and pop-cultury like Moana. Andy's speaking style is so friendly and fun that I just love listening to him too. Keep it up Andy!

Andy slays
I listen to Andy when I am painting. He is approachable, likable, and encouraging. I listen to it every week religiously and get pepped up. I love the guests he brings on too!

Stop Clinging and Just Rest
There is at least one golden nugget that I collect with each episode of Creative Pep Talk. The latest is from episode 139 - The Key to Making Authentic Work - that might be the largest yet...that when you start creating from who you really are instead of clinging to who you think you should be, there is peace. Calm. Rest. This episode is a huge encouragement to me to keep going in the way I'm going. I've spent plenty of time clinging in the past but am beginning to experience that creative calm Andy talks about. It's a beautiful place to be. Andy - thanks so much for sharing your insights with the world. You are making a difference.

Weaving the Cosmic Dance
Engaging, thought provoking and sometimes challenging, with a sprinkle of human elements – Creative Pep Talk is a vitamin tablet of encouragement for the creative soul. Host, Andy J. (Pizza) Miller, is quirky, humorous and relatable. His pep talks are both (strangely) confronting and reassuring, acting as a waypoint in any creative journey. Creative Pep Talk has something for everyone; be it that much needed dose of bravery, a gps in a winding industry, a front runner to chase, or just a fellow creative to relate to. It is in my humble opinion that Creative Pep Talk well and truly deserves your time, attention and a 5 star rating (you'll get more than you give).

Thankful
Andy came and spoke at our local CreativeMornings chapter, and I started listening after that. I am so thankful I did. This podcast is an incredible encouragement, has kept me moving forward in my creative career at times I felt like giving up. And it connects to my deep weirdness in ways that I didn't know I needed. If you're trying to get into something creative....
...this podcast is for you. The latest episode on "Creative Destiny" almost brought me to tears with the thought of what I could do. If I hadn't been at work, I would have cried with joy. "Pep talk" definitely does what its title implies. Thanks so much for doing such a great job!

A true pep talk
Us creative people are our own worst critics, in art and in life. This podcast is a true pep talk to anyone thats not completely confident in themselves (like me) and/or people who don't really know what direction to go in (also like me).
Its amazing to hear not only the confidence that those who are already in the industry have in us that are trying to join them, but to also hear their tips, strategies and advice on how to do it in the most effective, true to yourself way. None of that one plan fits all advice. But a wide spectrum of ideas and viewpoints, because we're all different, and we can all 'make it' in a different way.

Life changing, and not just for artists
I was an academic going through a career change and needed some guidance. An artist friend of mine recommended the "make 2018 the best year ever" episode, and it REALLY helped. As in.... it made things click in my mind. It helped me make a clear goal to work toward, and as a result I have a new job that I'm very happy at. More episodes in, and I keep finding CPT to be a great source of advice--how to get out of a funk, how to stand out in your field, how to maintain a small business, how to find direction when you feel lost. The interview episodes can feel a little hit or miss depending on the person Andy is talking to, but the regular, Andy-only episodes are almost always very, very helpful. Thank you, Dr. Pizza!!!

Very motivational
Andy makes the most clever and fun metaphors and anecdotes EVER in explaining all aspects of working as a freelancer. From connecting freelancing to a farming job to finding your voice by getting a "Moana" moment. I love it. I'm seriously becoming addicted, listening to him every day on my dayjob while secretly taking steps to becoming a freelancer ;) Thank you Andy for sharing your knowledge! It means tons :D

Life Changing.
I can't say enough great things about this podcast. I started listening during one my worst semesters in art school, and CPT has keep me afloat ever since. Andy is one of a kind, a truly giving and humble spirit with an amazing gift. Every creative will benefit from this podcast.

Nothing better to work by
I've been creating alongside Andy's podcast for the last month and I have to say, it's a game-changer. Not every single moment is a lightbulb moment, but so many are. It's the ideal mindset that my work needs. I really, really appreciate having this encouragement and an empathetic message. An entrepreneurial artistic life is a hard life, but so worth it; Andy gets that and is a gigantic asset to our field.

I highly recommend this podcast to any creative!
I feel like I've made multiple breakthroughs in my creative work and business life ever since I started listening to this podcast. It is insightful, full of humor and practical. Must-listen podcast for creatives
I just recently started listening to Creative Pep Talk and it's brilliant. Andy is a character, and always has a very interesting take on things that really resonate with me as a fledgling illustrator. The guests are always of the highest calibre and have fascinating insights, and I've come away with multiple 'a-ha' moments after just a couple of days of tuning in. Thanks for a wonderful podcast, Andy!

solid, practical creative advice
I work as a graphic designer and illustrator and I'm a huge fan of podcasts so naturally I wanted to find a podcast that focuses on the creative process. But the ones I had previously tried just didn't seem to resonate - whether it was because I found the host irritating or I just didn't relate to what was being discussed. But Creative Pep Talk seems different. I can identify with a lot of what Andy talks about, not necessarily because I'm a graphic designer but just because I am a creatively inclined individual. His advice makes sense and he doesn't waste time with fluff or sugarcoating. It's personal, but also (I think) broadly relatable. I definitely recommend if you are interested in developing a creative career or just trying to be more creative in general.

Hands down - best podcast for illustrators!
